SATOA KUOPIO FOOD FESTIVAL is a celebration of local food, which takes place at harvest time at the end of August. SATOA Kuopio Food festival is a proudly Nordic event featuring Pohjois Savo delicacies and expertise. Every year, local restaurants gather at the outskirts of the torialue to offer tasty dishes whose origins of pure flavors lead to the farms of Northern Savonia food producers.
Streetfood portions cost about 4-10 euros.

Bicycles are not recommended for the Kauppakatu event area, but it is recommended to park them nearby.
Some restaurants have a licensed area for selling alcoholic beverages.
In the licensed areas, the age limit is 18 years.
